The Meaning of Ramadan Iftar



Iftar refers to the evening meal eaten after sunset during the Islamic month of Ramadan. Muslim community People’s gather to break their day long fast at Iftar. Since, Muslims observe a strict fast during the day; they are quite hungry by Iftar time held right after sunset. Usually, the fast is broken by consuming a date, or a sip of water.
